Global Diplomatic Role
In a significant testament to my diplomatic prowess, I have been appointed by the Minister of Affairs of Georgia as the Honorary Consul-General for Johannesburg. This prestigious role underscores my commitment to fostering international relations and upholding diplomatic standards.
Leadership in Governance and Compliance
My dedication to excellence is reflected in my designation as a Chartered Director (CD-SA) by the Institute of Directors of South Africa. Simultaneously, I am recognised as an internationally Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP-I) by the Society for Corporate Compliance & Ethics (SCCE). These accolades underscore my commitment to impeccable corporate governance, compliance, and ethical standards.
Educational Milestones
I fortified my international business acumen through the completion of the Global Executive Development Programme (GEDP) at the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS). My academic journey includes the attainment of a Master of Laws degree in International Commercial Law from the University of Salford, Manchester, UK. These educational pursuits have equipped me with a robust foundation for navigating complex global business landscapes.

My dedication to continuous learning is evident through my participation in various programmes, including the Applied Directorship Programme at Sirdar. Notable experiences include the Accelerated Director Programme, Chairman’s Programme, and the Social & Ethics Committee course. I am a proud alumni of the International Anti-Corruption Academy (Austria).
International Appointments and Advocacy
Leveraging my extensive expertise in ethics, integrity, and anti-corruption, I proudly serve as the Chairman of the Ethical Governance and Accountability Committee at the United Nations of Africa. I actively contribute to global initiatives, having served on the Integrity Task Force of the B20 Italy, B20 Indonesia, and B20 India (2023). I currently participate in the B20 Brazil 2024 Integrity and Compliance Task Force.
Global Industry Engagement
In my role as the current Vice-Chairman: Africa of the World Innovation Technology & Services Alliance (WITSA), I champion the interests of the global ICT industry. My involvement in WITSA dates back to 2009, initially serving in various capacities, including Deputy-Chairman. I also serve as the joint-President at the Information Technology Association (ITA) in South Africa.
International Collaborations and Advocacy
As an active member of the Bretton Woods Committee, I contribute to global efforts aimed at spurring economic growth, alleviating poverty, and improving financial stability. My commitment extends to having served on the board of the French-South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where I played a pivotal role in fostering bilateral trade relations.
Strategic Leadership at Maruti Global
As the Executive Chairman of Maruti Global, I oversee subsidiaries including Compliance Intelligence, and International Corporate Training Limited. This role allows me to apply my corporate governance and compliance expertise on a global scale.
International Recognition and Awards
My commitment to excellence has been acknowledged internationally. In 2018, I earned the title of “Ulaga Thamizhar Maamani” in Pondicherry, India, a recognition conferred jointly by the then Prime Minister of Guyana, the then President of Mauritius, and the then Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
Advocacy for Ethical Governance
In addition to my corporate roles, I am the proud founder of the International Institute for Ethical Governance and Accountability (IIEGA), a global non-profit dedicated to promoting ethical governance, integrity, and accountability worldwide. I passionately support the ISO 37001 and ISO 37002 standards, embodying my commitment to ethical business practices.

As a frequent speaker at local and international conferences, including the European Economic Congress (Katowice), Economic Forum (Krynica), the World Congress on Information Technology 2023 (Malaysia), the Annual Investment Meeting 2023 (Abu Dhabi), I share insights and contribute to the discourse on global economic challenges and opportunities.
Future Academic Endeavours
Considering my wealth of experience, I am currently being considered for appointment as an Adjunct-Professor for programmes in Ethics & Integrity and Anti-Corruption by esteemed universities.

Having undertaken business visits to over 60 countries and being a part of official state missions accompanying the President of South Africa, I bring a nuanced understanding of global business dynamics and cultural sensitivities.
Past Roles and Corporate Exposure
My journey includes serving as an Associate Director at Ernst & Young Corporate Finance division (2000-2005), contributing to significant BEE due diligences, mergers, valuations, and BEE Advisory. Previous experience also encompasses a role as Financial Controller with Tsogo Sun Hotels.
